In the years I have been going to Gages Lake Auto I have never had to take my car back, even once, because something was not done right. They are great at repairs and honest about what needs to be done to maintain my vehicle.

We have a huge problem. We have been going to this garage for donkey's years and thought they were wonderful. However, they quoted us $1500 for a job the VW dealership charges $1072 and they just charged us $165 for a job the VW dealership charges $150.00. What happened?

Very trustworthy mechanics, never feel like I'm being cheated or lied to, they show photos of what they're servicing and have a spiffy digital report for convenience. Only mechanics I'll ever go to. They can be a little on the more expensive side but well worth the price

Very thorough. The summary they send is easy to understand and they mark items as either good, keep an eye on the item, or repair. They don’t upsell either. Good place.

2nd Visit This time to get wires and plugs changed. This place is great. They do excellent work. My car is running smooth once again. Price dropped from estimate as there was less work for them to do than expected. Highly recommended.

As usual your staff was helpful and professional. My car had a dead battery which was happening too many times. I had my ins company out to charge it and called you. Since it was dying so often I wanted to have it checked. Mike had it towed to you because there weren't any courtesy cars. He explained what you'd do very clearly and I now have a new battery. I was really frustrated over the dead battery and Mike calmed me down so I'd understand. Then Mike and another employee drove my car back to me. I thought that was above and beyond. Thank you.
